if there's one thing I've learned

Always carry a disposable camera.

A year and a half ago (which feels like 34 hours) I lost my very best/closest friend to very tragic, unexpected circumstances. Today I received pictures in the mail from a mutual fried, who I now consider to be a very close friend. The pictures were off of an old disposable camera that had never been developed because we were way to broke to afford it!! These pictures bring back so many memories, it is almost like I have her back for a moment. So don't get all hyped on your technology because the wonderment and excitement of having to wait until it is developed way exceeds the instant gratification of the new digital cameras.
